11/17/09 - A New Discovery Has Been Made In The Spiral!

I have heard rumors of a rare creature hiding somewhere in Dragonspyre. Maybe in a cave, or inside a cloud.....maybe it doesn't even exist. Who is to know right?

Well guess what.....I saw it.....the rare....and amazing.....

MARSHMALLOW DRAGON!!!

11/15/09 - Menu Chatter For The Win!!

Well I ported to my friend who was in the arena.

He did that small bug that lets you actually get inside the arena, so you can just fight for fun by walking into the circle.

So then we have friends port and do some 1v1's, and 3v3's.

Then randomly this menu chatter joins the party. Her name was Michelle SpiritFlower, and is a level 6 ice wizard. So, we decided to have some fun with her. For some reason she continuously entered the battles one after another even though she got beaten nearly every time, but her persistence was very commendable. My friend Caleb was being pretty rude to her, since she is not able to hear him. Making fun of her and completely over-killing her. It wasn't very nice, and Michelle agreed, with the constant,

"That wasn't nice!" or
"Don't be mean!"

So then we got into a 3v3. It was me and a balance friend, plus Michelle. We were against Caleb, a 13 death, and a 49 myth. So me and my friend continued to shield her as she healed and managed to stay alive the whole battle.

Then after knocking out 2 of them me and William (the friend on my team) managed to knock the remaining person to 16 health or so. Then, Michelle made the final blow and won us the match! :D

Way to go girl!

So, never underestimate the power of a menu-chatter, they may come back with a vengeance!

11/14/09 - The Friendly Conjurer??

After being a grandmaster for quite some time, and currently working on my third, I get bored from time to time. I usually just go run around the commons, getting bombarded with friend requests....

Why don't I turn them off you ask?? I have no idea what so ever.......I am just so lazy that I can't click on like 3 things and turn them off I guess :)

Anyway, back on topic. This week I have been doing things a little different. I have decided to humor these people and actually add them. Or just run up to random people and start chatting away. I have really enjoyed this. Turns out if your Mr. smiley, friendly, overly happy, crazy, perky, peppy, random, funny, hot, handsome, awesome, strong.....got carried away there sorry....

But if you shine a smile, then usually you get one back :)

A smile is like a light, and just a few people can brighten the world for all of us.

Woah....did I just say that....I am so deep! I never knew I had it in me!!

So yeah I have made a lot of new friends, and it feels good. So give this a try:

-Go to the commons on a some what empty realm, not one filled with people talking left and right.

- Go up to a random person. I prefer girls. They are more interesting to talk to, and generally more happy :)

-Then just say hi with a smile

-See how many friends you can make!

ON A SIDE NOTE:

I am working on a remix for the Holidays. I love to make music, as well as listen to it of course. So, recently I have began working on a remix of 'We Wish You A Merry Christmas'. I have turned a classic Christmas carol, into a dance-ey, and fun, techno song. I will be working on it until December, to ensure it's nice and ready. I will probably release a sneak peek later this month, but the final product won't be released until around December 20th or so.

Just keep an eye out for any links to it on here, I am some-what impatient, so I will post an unfinished version at some point.

10/30/09 - Arena Jerks

I have a few things I want to discuss here.

I have been playing this game for maybe 6 or 7 months now. The past 2 of those months I have became very addicted to PvP.

As I am sure everyone can imagine, in a big online world there is bound to be people that are very rude. Yesterday, I unfortunately ran into one of those people. This is the story.

I was on my Grandmaster life guy, Valdus Thorn, and went into a 3v3 match with Paige and William. They are grandmaster fire and grandmaster storm. We were paired against 2 storm and a myth. They pretty much destroyed us on account of us going second. Minus them getting very annoyed with my constant rebirths of course :)

Anyway....

I used some storm shields to protect me, and they were complaining they were treasures. (Which they weren't) I just had some extra training points so I went ahead and learned storm shield.

So after the match, since with the newest update we stay in the arena until we hit the commons button. They said that I was cheap for using treasures. I of course responded saying they werent, and then left the arena. Then I got a whisper from one of our opponents...we will call him Bob.....I am Tyler...

Bob - Are you a dumb***?

Tyler - Um no?

(again I explained how they werent treasure storm shields)

Bob - Yea, sure

Tyler - I am serious. Honestly I had some points left over so I bought storm shield cause I am afraid of storm.

Bob - HAHA Your just a wimp who cant fight!

Bob - Homo

Tyler - Yeah keep calling me names, I know it makes you feel special. Have fun :)

(Then I reported and ignored him)

Some people are just annoying. I can get past being called a noob, or whatever. But actually insulting me is quite bothersome.

Later that day I spent my day in the commons, and again thanks to the update you cant spam something you said. So you have to retype something if you want to say it multiple times, thus eliminating the constant "I need a girl" and "TRADE ME RARE CARDS FOR CODES" and all that jazz....

So it was nice to have some peace and quiet.

And for some reason lately I have found the urge to 'meow' all the time....Don't ask why cause I have no answer for you. I just like to make random noises.

10/14/09 - OMG I AM WARLORD

Well I have been doing a lot of 1v1 lately, cause I always thought the pvp armor was shiny and awesome. So after lots of matches I made it to commander with only 8 wins left until I could buy my commander hat. Then my friend who was barely a Warlord (905 rank or so) ended up losing his next match.

Our ranks were withing 30 of each other. So the next match we fought ended up being against each other. (Do I smell an idea?)

So he let me win. (no he didn't pass. We did fight. He just wouldn't kill me completely if he had the chance.) So anyway we ended up getting paired 5 times in a row, cause the game just loves me :) Then I ended up making warlord.

This brought me to just 3 more wins until my hat. Of course the higher ranked you get, the more difficult (or cheap) your opponents get. So therefore I was worried. Luckily, I got paired against someone who was trying to lower his rank. So I did a little victory dance and joined another battle. Once again, it was the same guy. Then, a third time. So basically I got 8 free wins and managed to get my hat and warlord rank in just an hour. I was just ecstatic!

So now I have been winning a few more matches. My rank is now 989 and I seem to be doing fairly well.

Also, I love meeting new people and reading what they have to say, so thanks to Friendly's blog I stumbled across 2 some what lonely blogs.....like mine :(

On a side note, my mom's friend and her husband and son live with us. And her son (Brandon) is utterly obsessed with the song 'Your A Jerk' by New Boys. He is also attempting to learn how to jerk. Strongly emphasizing the word ATTEMPTING. But since he is white, he is therefore immune to being able to jerk.

(No that is not racist)

I do get a kick out him trying to do it though. And from watching his mom lie and say he is good with a fake smile on her face :)

Update

Just a short post describing what is going to happen in the next couple days.

Well first off is blog news:

I made a blog on Wizard101 Central (http://www.wizard101central.com/). I also sent the administrator a message hoping to get this blog approved. So that way I can post a link to this one inside of that blog, and possibly boost my viewers/followers.

I also asked someone on central to make a nice signature which I hope to use as a header for this page. If not, I'll try to find someone else. So that would be a nice touch.

I also got put into the Blog Reel of another Wizard101 site (http://mywizard101.com/) which was pretty cool. So thanks to the person who did that.

Wizard101 News:

Well I am sure everyone has heard of the new mounts coming to Wizard101 next month. (http://www.wizard101central.com/forums/showthread.php?t=27263)

I am not sure if they mean it's going on to test realm in October or if it's being released on the live realm. Either way I hope they open up the test realm soon.

*dreams of tiger mount*

Also, the news that they are releasing school houses is pretty cool. I just hope I can afford all this update has to offer.

My Characters Update:

Tyler Earthstrider, who is my main wizard, has finally managed to gain all his grandmaster myth stuff. That includes his deck, wand, and amulet as well. So he is complete. Now I am planning on doing 1v1 to hopefully gain commander gear for him as well. He currently has 610 tickets.

Valdus Thorn, my life wizard, is still collecting his gear. He managed to get his hat and boots. As well a his athame. Now he is trying to get that rotten Malistaire to drop his robe. I have gotten the storm robe 5 times, and the balance, fire, and myth once. So that's a total of eight tries so far. Hopefully today I can go for a 9th.

As for my death guy, Tyler Skullstrider, he is still in hyde park. I am trying to complete the game with my friend, but we aren't on together that much. As for pvp with him, I have managed to get his commander boots through early level bolt spamming. Now I am starting to 2v2 with my balance friend without the use of bolts. I have 412 arena tickets at the moment.

So overall everyone is doing fairly well in general. I am usually on my myth wizard hanging in the commons. Leave a comment if you want to meet or anything.

General News:

My birthday is this Friday (September 25th) and I am trying to debate what I want to get at this point. Instead of a bunch of games and what not I decided between 2 larger priced things. Then just with whatever money I get, I will buy other things I wanted.

My choices right now are between a Flip Ultra HD camera which is around $200, along with some nice headphones for $70. Or one of 2 products from numark. Either the Numark Total Control or the Numark Stealth I believe it's called. THese are mixers used to DJ. You add tracks to both sides of it. Then you can work with it from there. The price ranges from $200-$350. Depending on which one I get. Both come with software and it's hard for me to choose.

On a side note. One friend got me Halo 3: ODST. He gave it to me yesterday and I have to say it was awesome.

I only played it for maybe 3 hours, but it was very fun.

Wizard101 Privacy

This afternoon I spent a couple hours on Wizard101. I just spent this time in the commons. I just enjoy hanging around and seeing what people are up to. Occasionally someone will come talk to me and things just progress from there.

As everyone knows, the commons is full of people spamming. Thing like "I need treasure cards" and "Help me with this boss" to "I need a girl/boy". Spamming can get very annoying, but that's not the point of this post.

I am here to discuss a major issue. This one person named Monica (I do not remember her last name) continuously asked who wants her grandmaster account because she has a family account. A few lower level intrigued by the idea of gaining access to a grandmaster account went up to her of course. She then told them that she would trade accounts with them and asked them to 'go first'.

I told them to not listen to her, it's a scam, don't tell her your account info, and so on. I stopped everyone, but she still continued to do it. I just hope nobody honestly gets into this situation. Most likely the account was a fake. I know this because in order to get to grandmaster you would need a subscription or crowns which cost money. Plus, the people coming up to her were low level (10 and below) which probably didn't have a membership. So basically she would be trading an account she is paying for to get her hands on one that has no membership. In other words, a complete waste. Therefore, she could not actually be serious.

So she was giving them a fake user-name and password in return for the victims actual account. Thus, scamming an innocent player of the game. Thankfully I stopped her from stealing any accounts, but this does happen often and sometimes people aren't there to stop it.

So please report anyone who is trying to scam people out of their account. It is against the rules to give out any account information.

DO NOT GIVE OUT ANY ACCOUNT INFORMATION TO ANY PLAYER!

Kings Isle themselves even said they would not ask for your password. So no matter what someone says or promises to do, never give out that information. It can lead to serious consequences.
